Our CrossFit Kids program engages and entertains with a combination of fitness and fun. The goal is for kids to gain a lifelong love of fitness and health. The CrossFit Kids program combines gymnastics, body weight and weightlifting elements. The program will develop capacity across the ten general physical skills including Cardio-respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. We also incorporate exercises that involve the vestibular system, increase bone density and improve body movements. All classes can be scaled to the ability of each child based on level of fitness experience.
Classes will consist of children, ages 5-12. Classes will run 45 minutes and be led by our certified CrossFit Kids coach, Melissa Barnett. This class is open to all children, not just children of current members.
