High Point CrossFit would like to announce a new and exciting opportunity! We will be hosting a Rowing Workshop. Rowing is a very important aspect to CrossFit as well as overall fitness. It is one of the best ways to build aerobic capacity, and show power output.
This workshop will be host February 21st and 22nd. The class will be lead by Allie Davis, coach of the High Point Rowing Club. Allie was also the chief coxswain for UNC’s Collegiate rowing team. Saturday will be 45 minutes long and relay very heavily on technique and mechanics. Saturday will involved a 1:1 ratio of athlete to ERG (rowing machine). Sunday, day two of the workshop will continue to build upon the techniques learned on Saturday. In addition to that, it will be more high intensity and involving more race style rowing.
Space is limited for this workshop, so don’t hesitate.
Saturday (Feb 21) you will need to sign up for one session. Either 12pm or 1pm.
Sunday (Feb 22) everyone will attend at 4:30pm.
