A High Point Fire Department fire equipment operator died this Sunday during a traffic accident. “It is with a heavy (heart) that I have to notify you that FEO (Fire Equipment Operator) Todd Martinez has passed away at Moses Cone Hospital through complications after he was struck by a car while cycling. Valiant life saving efforts by Summerfield fire, Guilford EMS and Moses Cone staff were unsuccessful.
